An active yogi in London for over 10 years, who stumbled across yoga with no plan to become an active yogi, it simply happened and before Céire knew it, she was the journey.
Yoga was initially a way to move the body, try and quieten the mind and create space to stop thinking. Like most yogi's, Céire was initially attracted to movement, the way it made her body feel and how she felt post class. This was the first building block and as Céire’s practice developed, she started to learn that the asana (postures) is just one of the many yoga blocks.
In 2019, Céire completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Julie Montagu at Whole Self Yoga school in London and has since completed her Yin Teacher Training with Emily Mergaert. This is to ensure she can bring both the Yin and the Yang to her students and their practices.
Céire’s teaching style is all about the breath and connecting this with the asana movement so as to ensure her students can feel the energy change in their body. It is a dynamic practice that can be as strong as you want and need for that particular class, because ultimately your practice it is all about you listening to what you need and simply having someone there to help guide you to that place.
