Private classes

Vinyasa Flow Open

A faster pace class that still offers precision of alignment and attention to detail but will build the heat (agni) in the body quickly via the various Sun Salutations A & B plus a flow sequence to heat the body from the inside out. You will move skilfully, slowly and safely in order to nourish, heat, strengthen and rejuvenate the body, as well as the mind, through the use of breath and movement. Breathing techniques and a guaranteed 5 minute savasana is included also. All ages and abilities are welcomed.

Slow Flow

These classes simply take the various poses in a more relaxed and restorative way. Like in a Vinyasa Flow class, we will generally start with a pranayama (manipulation of the breath) exercise and warm-up postures, some slower movement via the Sun Salutations A & B, followed by standing and seated asanas. There will be a relaxing savasana to complete the class. Open to complete beginners, those who have never practiced yoga before, are in the initial stages of yoga practice or those seeking a gentler asana practice.

Vinyasa Flow Beginners

These classes focus on the fine details of yoga postures and breathing, working on both your body and the mind. Like in a Vinyasa Flow class, we will generally start with a pranayama (manipulation of the breath) exercise and warm-up postures, followed by standing and seated asanas. There will be a relaxing savasana to complete the class. You’ll hold postures longer than in a flowing vinyasa class, so you can explore the technical aspects and therefore have a deeper and more grounding experience. Open to complete beginners, those who have never practiced yoga before, are in the initial stages of yoga practice or those seeking a gentler asana practice.

Yin Yoga

A stilling practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body. Yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia) and well as stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, our rest and digest activities. Poses are held for 3 to 5 minutes, allowing the student to deepen into the pose and feel the benefits. Guaranteed to leave you feeling refreshed and ready to have a great nights sleep. Open to all levels from complete beginners to the more experienced.
